Quebec represents a vast swath of the North American continent and as such a massive quantity of water has to run from land to sea - this is accented in the spring by a deep snowpack that melts to water and fills the rivers and lakes to the brim. In addition to its huge volume rivers that rival any other large river around the world, this place is also home to any other type of whitewater you can think of. A wonderful destination any time of year when the water isn't frozen, you won't be disappointed by the variety of rivers nor the cultural flare of travelling through the French speaking province of Canada. Go for the boating, stay for the poutine!
